The Perfect Hainanese Chicken Rice. In this class, you will learn A to Z from Executive Chef Kelvin who specialises in Chinese cuisine for the past 18 years to create the perfectly delicious chicken rice with silky smooth skin, juicy tender chicken, absolutely fragrant rice with the right texture, luxurious chicken soup, 3 different condiments and kick-ass chili sauce!



1.Tender, Juicy, Free Range, Ipoh Chicken with Silky Smooth Skin

In this class, you will learn everything from selecting the right chicken, how to yield a silky, smooth skin, how to cook perfect chicken that is juicy, moist & tender. Often times, we makes chicken rice at home and the meat turns rather dry or bland, learn from Executive Chef Kelvin who has experienes in Chinese cuisine for more than 18 years. He has cooked this “luxe” version of chicken rice for his family to enjoy!


2.Flavourful, Fragrant, Fluffy Rice with Umami Spice

What is the secret in creating a perfect chicken rice that is fluffy, fragrant and flavourful? Chef Kelvin will share all the little details to create the blended umami spice with ginger, galangal, pandan leaves and so on to add that “oomph” into the rice!


3.Luxurious ABC Chicken Soup

Chef Kelvin will teach how to create a light, yet flavourful soup with good quality ingredients that goes so well with the chicken rice. Trust us that this soup will be absolutely loved from people across generation!


4.Spring Onion Ginger Dipping Sauce

This versatile sauce goes so well with anything. Make a batch and eat it with a warm rice, will bring smile to everyone.


5.Thai Basil Ginger Dipping Sauce

This sauce is absolutely delicious and one of Chef Kelvin’s specialty. You will be so surprised and delighted of this sauce. It makes a wonderful accompaniment to your “luxe” chicken rice.


7.Fragrant Superior Soy Sauce

Learn to create this versatile soy sauce mixture that can be used to make dishes other than chicken rice. It is also wonderful to use this sauce to steam HK style fish!


8.Kick-Ass Chili Sauce

Sweet, hot, sour, umami bomb. Just be ready!


9.Thai Tofu with Mint Leaves and Sweet Thai Chili Sauce

What else can make this whole dish more complete? Crunchy, savoury, and full of umami, this Thai tofu works wonderfully as appetisers to any meal!
