Chef Andrew Lin

Chef Andrew specialises in traditional Japanese cuisine with more than 20 years of experience under his belt. With breadth of knowledge and talent, Chef Andrew is currently holding a much-pivoted role as a Chef at one of the best sushi restaurants in Singapore, 1 Michelin star, Shinji by Kanesaka. He has been working at Shinji by Kanesaka for the past 9 years honing his skills.

 

Chef Andrew starts his career in Japanese cuisine at an early age. He admits that he was not much into studying but he derived much joy from cooking early on. Previous to Shinji by Kanesaka, Chef Andrew worked at now-shuttered Rakuzen (part of Sushi Tei group), a Japanese restaurant which offers comprehensive menu from sushi, fried to grilled sections for about 6 years.
